The Harrison Street project was a labor of love that turned an old San Francisco Victorian that had seen better days into a reimagined home for a young couple. Our clients wanted to honor the home’s history by keeping the gorgeous original bones—like the stately crown moldings, grand window casings, and beautifully aged flooring—but they also wanted the space to feel youthful, vibrant, and unapologetically colorful. Our favorite challenge is pairing unexpected aesthetics, so we set out to blend old-school architecture with high-energy modern design.

The result is a beautifully balanced space that feels effortlessly cool, incredibly fun, and even a little bit Parisian. By layering bold colors and fresh, modern furnishings against that heavily detailed historic backdrop, the home takes on a spirited, curated vibe that completely reflects our clients' energy. It’s a space that doesn't take itself too seriously, paying a textured homage to its past while living completely in the modern present.
