Located in Kapaa on Kauai's east side, this full-scale renovation and furnishing project was designed for a family that knows how to throw a good party. As the owners of local favorites Java Kai Coffee and Shipwrecked Boutique, our clients wanted a home that felt vibrant.

While they loved the house, the interiors didn't reflect their colorful personality. We reimagined the space with bold hues, playful materials, and retro-inspired shapes that bring a cool, collected energy to every room. Vibrant terrazzo tile, a rad mustard velvet sofa, and layers of texture create a home that feels joyful, relaxed, and anything but ordinary.

Designed for a family with three boys and a constant flow of friends and relatives, the home was built for real life - and all the spontaneous gatherings that come with it. The result is a fun-loving, personality-packed retreat that's equal parts stylish and livable.
