Noe Valley
Residential
San Francisco, California
When our clients learned they had a baby on the way, their Noe Valley home quickly became a race against the clock. The goal was to complete both renovations and furnishings before their growing family arrived—creating a home that felt deeply personal, functional, and full of character.
Although the Craftsman house possessed beautiful original details, years of previous renovations had softened much of its historic charm. We looked to the home's architectural features as our starting point, drawing attention back to the crown moldings, wood floors, and brick fireplace while layering in bold color, expressive wallpaper, and rich, moody textiles.
One of the project's defining challenges was blending the homeowners' love of Mid-Century design with the home's Craftsman architecture. Rather than allowing one style to dominate, we sought a balance between the two—creating interiors that feel collected, inviting, and authentic to both the house and the people who call it home.
The finished result is vibrant, sophisticated, and family-focused, proving that old homes can evolve beautifully without losing what makes them special.
