The iconic checkerboard print, made infamous by Spicoli and relegated to our beloved slip-on Vans, is no longer reserved for sk8rs (full disclosure my aim handle in middle school was sk8rgrl86) and bad linoleum flooring. This punky print is having a major moment, and is being reinvented in unexpected ways that make it feel both fresh and modern - from tone on tone tile patterns to more tailored and preppy suiting - I love how this look is experiencing a Renaissance in both fashion and interiors alike!
