Nothing makes my week like seeing my design projects come to life! This client came to me wanting to refresh her (already adorable) dining room and give it that California laid back vibe - without breaking the bank. Some paint and a new light fixture did the trick. See the transformation below!

Many of you may not know that I actually studied Art History in college...and like (almost) every other Art History major I know I didn't end up in the art world. BUT I am a huge sucker for art and I am currently swooning after Carol Benson-Cobb's gorgeous abstract pieces - the layered pops of color are such an awesome way to "finish" a room and add a pop of color. I've been using them tons in designs lately and am saving my pennies for a large-scale indigo textile inspired piece! Her large scale (affordable) Giclee prints are currently available at One Kings Lane.
